About us

The South Tyrolean University Association "sh.asus" is South Tyrol's most important representative for students. Its main task is to represent the social interests of students and to take a position on educational policy issues as well as on cultural, social and socio-political issues.

The headquarters of the association is located in Bolzano, where four collaborators deal with the needs of some 15,000 students. Most of the work consists of university consulting. At our office, school-leavers and students have the opportunity to find out about their educational future. One of the most requested services is assistance in filling out scholarship application forms. Every year about 2,000 students contact sh.asus to take advantage of this free service.

There is also free psychological counselling for all students who contact sh.asus. The real heart of the association are the various sh.asus offices; besides Bolzano, we are also present in Innsbruck, Graz, Salzburg, Vienna, Bologna and the section in Southy Tyrol BBB (Bolzano-Bressanone-Brunico). The locations offer accommodation and organize cultural events, leisure activities and provide a meeting place.
