We are...
... the most important South Tyrolean students representation. The sh.asus is not place bound to the headquarter but additionally has seven branch offices in big university cities, four in Austria and three in Italy. The sh.asus was founded in 1955 as a non-profit association. Its main task is to represent the interest of South Tyrolean students abroad and students in South Tyrol.

Representation of interests
Position on educational policy issues, representation of the interests and needs of students, votes in the State Advisory Council for the Right to Higher Education.
Culture
Parties, film evenings, educational trips, communal meals, courses and much more are organized by volunteer students.

Call for proposals by IER - thesis on the South Tyrolean economy
The IER - Institute for Economic Research of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano supports students who are writing a Bachelor's or Master's thesis on the South Tyrolean economy. The three best research concepts (exposés) are awarded with 1,500 euros.
Deadlines for application for the winter semester 2024/25: 1 December 2024 to 31 Januay 2025
All students who are regularly enrolled at a university or technical college in Italy or abroad in the academic year 2024/25 can take part in the call for proposals. However, the final thesis must not have been completed at the time of registration.
