We are...

... the most important South Tyrolean students representation. The sh.asus is not place bound to the headquarter but additionally has seven branch offices in big university cities, four in Austria and three in Italy. The sh.asus was founded in 1955 as a non-profit association. Its main task is to represent the interest of South Tyrolean students abroad and students in South Tyrol.

Representation of interests

Position on educational policy issues, representation of the interests and needs of students, votes in the State Advisory Council for the Right to Higher Education.

Culture

Parties, film evenings, educational trips, communal meals, courses and much more are organized by volunteer students.

Call for proposals by IER - thesis on the South Tyrolean economy


The IER - Institute for Economic Research of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano supports students who are writing a Bachelor's or Master's thesis on the South Tyrolean economy. The three best research concepts (exposés) are awarded with 1,500 euros.


Deadlines for application for the summer semester 2023/24: 15 April until 16 June 2024


However, the final thesis must not have been completed at the time of registration.

Merit-based grants


From 13 March 2024 until 24 April 2024, 12 noon, students and graduates with particularly good performance can apply for a merit scholarship from the Province of Bolzano. 

The achievements of the 2022/23 academic year will be taken into account when awarding the 208 merit scholarships. Additional points are awarded for language certificates and participation in international mobility programmes.
