Scholarships

A year at university can cost between 8,000 and 10,000 euros (accommodation, food, teaching materials, travel expenses). For this reason it is good to inquire about funding possibilities. Parents? Work during the summer or during the academic year? Scholarships?

The Autonomous Province of Bozen/Bolzano awards scholarships for different cycles of your study programme.

Students who attend a Bachelor's degree course, a Master's degree course or a first level Master's degree may apply for an ordinary or in some cases extraordinary scholarship. In addition, from the second year onwards they may request a scholarship for special merit. Whoever is awarded an ordinary or extraordinary scholarship and in the same academic year pays at least 300 euros in tuition fees may request a partial refund of tuition fees.

For students with disabilities there is a separate grant.

Doctoral and PhD students, students attending a level II master's degree, a compulsory educational or professional internship or a course for the achievement of a teaching qualification can apply for a scholarship for postgraduate training/studies.

Recent graduates in Psychology or Veterinary Medicine who have to do an internship can contact the Health Regulations Office for more information about the grant.
