Transport

The Südtirol abo+ costs 150 euros and can be requested by students who have not yet reached the age of 27. It is valid from September 1st until September 15th of the following year. It is used on all means of transport in the South Tyrolean integrated transport system and the regional train to Trento but does not include long-distance trains (EC/ICE/EN). In order to use the abo+ on the Brenner - Innsbruck and San Candido-Lienz route, it is necessary to activate these additional services for a fee.

 Students who are in  South Tyrol only during summer-time can buy the Summer abo+. It is valid in the months of June, July, August and September.

Euregio Ticket Students

The Euregio Ticket Students pass is available to students enrolled at a university or equivalent higher educational institution anywhere in the Euregio territory. For a fixed annual fee of 341.50 euros, this personalised electronic ticket offers unlimited and flexible use of public transport in all of South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino – all you need to remember is that the rules may vary slightly according to which of the three parts of the cross-border region you are travelling in.
