Publication of the provisional study grants ranking - academic year 2024/25
Dear students, from November 28th, the provisional ranking for the study grants has been published - there you can check whether you have received the study grant and how much it is. You can correct your application from November 28th - December 12th, 12 p.m on myCivis.
We advise everyone to check whether they received the scholarship!
If you need help in correcting your application, just pass by the office or if you prefer online support for the application via Zoom, contact us.

NB: if you need to correct your economic situation factor (FWL/VSE), you must send an email with the new VSE certificate attached to the Office for Higher Education Support by the deadline: dirittostudio.universitario@provincia.bz.it To correct any other data, you must use the online form on myCivis.

City of Bozen/Bolzano Prize
For the first time, the City of Bozen/Bolzano, in collaboration with the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano, is awarding a prize for the best master's thesis. Graduates and undergraduates from all disciplines at Italian (state and non-state) and foreign universities may participate, provided that the thesis/master's thesis relates to the city of Bozen/Bolzano.
Deadline: 30 November 2024
All information required to participate in the competition is available on the website of the Municipality of Bozen/Bolzano.

unibz Fair - 17 October 2024
On 17 October 2024, the Career Fair will take place from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Bolzano campus (unibz).
The career fair takes place once a year and brings together local, national and international companies and institutions with students, graduates and alumni.
70 companies and institutions will be present in the corridors of the ground floor and the first floor of the Campus Bolzano.

Claudia Augusta Prize 2024
Once again this year, the "Claudia Augusta" Library is awarding prizes for diploma theses and dissertations in Italian and English that are of interest to South Tyrol. The aim of the award is to collect and document the diversity of the local social and cultural heritage and to make it known to the public. The application must be submitted by 12 noon on Tuesday, 12 September 2024.

Partial refund of tuition fees
Until 31 July 2024, 12 noon, it is possible to apply for a partial refund of tuition fees. Scholarship winners from the Autonomous Province of Bozen/Bolzano for the academic year 2023/24 are entitled to do so. The form and all information can be found on the website of the provincial administration.

"EPSO: Shape Your EU Career" offers students and professionals insights into European institutions, career paths, and application processes. Call for proposals by IER - thesis on the South Tyrolean economy
The IER - Institute for Economic Research of the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano supports students who are writing a Bachelor's or Master's thesis on the South Tyrolean economy. The three best research concepts (exposés) are awarded with 1,500 euros.
Deadlines for application for the summer semester 2023/24: 15 April until 16 June 2024
However, the final thesis must not have been completed at the time of registration.

Merit-based grants - provisional results and correction
The provisional results will be published on the provincial administrations’s website on 16 May 2024. Applicants will then have from 16 May to 30 May 2024 at noon to submit a correction in case of incorrect information/errors in the application. The final results will be published by 20 June 2024. Merit-based grants
From 13 March 2024 until 24 April 2024, 12 noon, students and graduates with particularly good performance can apply for a merit scholarship from the Province of Bolzano.
The achievements of the 2022/23 academic year will be taken into account when awarding the 208 merit scholarships. Additional points are awarded for language certificates and participation in international mobility programmes.

Job Speed Dating in Bolzano
On Friday 22/3/2024, Job Speed Dating will be held again at the University of Bozen/Bolzano, after a break forced by the pandemic.
The event aims to connect students and graduates with South Tyrolean companies in a simple way. Each "date" will last eight minutes, during which applicants and companies can get to know each other.
If you would like to participate as a candidate, you can register on this page from today, 19 February, until 7 March. There you will also find all the companies and their offers. There are both job and internship offers. Participation is open to all, students and graduates, regardless of university.

unibz Career Day - 13 October 2023
On 13 October 2023, the Career Fair will take place from 13:00 to 17:00 at the Bolzano campus (unibz).

To the museum with abo+
From 17 June to 4 September 2023 the initiative to attract young people to museums returns to South Tyrol. Pupils, students and apprentices in possession of a valid abo+ ticket will be able to visit more than 40 museums and exhibition venues throughout the province of Bolzano free of charge.

Competition for students
The competition "Bachelor's and Master's theses on the South Tyrolean economy" of WIFO - Institute of Economic Research of the Bolzano Chamber of Commerce goes into the next round: The three best research concepts (exposés) will again be awarded 1,500 euros each. Applications for the summer semester can be submitted from 1 December 2022 to 31 January 2023.
Note: The thesis must not have been completed at the time of application. The documents can be submitted in German, Italian or English.

Claudia Augusta Prize
The Italian Provincial Library "Claudia Augusta" Bolzano awards prizes to diploma theses (bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses) in Italian and/or English that are of interest to South Tyrol. The aim of the prize is to collect and document the diversity of local social and cultural assets and to make them known to the public.
The theses may have been written in the current academic year or in the two previous academic years. Papers that are suitable but cannot be considered due to lack of funds will be considered again in future years.
Deadline for submission is September 15, 2021.
